Magdalena died on 16 Jun 1962 at the MacMillans Nursing Home in Chehalis, Lewis County, Washington, with her usual residence on Rt 1 in Winlock, Lewis County, Washington. The cause of death of Congestive Heart Failure with Cirrhosis of the Liver contributing. No autoposy was performed. She was listed as "Mary Magdaline Wease", her parents were listed as "William Goebel" and "Sophia Houck" on her death certificate. She was buried 18 Jun 1962 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The funeral was conducted by Boone Mortuary in Chehalis.
