Synopsis[edit]
On a snowy evening in 1926, in the North Country of New York State on the Canadian border - the city of Ogdensburg, the only US city on the St Lawrence River: an older gentlemen sits alone in his kitchen smoking a pipe and writing Hebrew poetry among piles of scrap metal, papers, boxes, and other random items waiting for him to sort for his work as a junk dealer.
