MRS HALLIDAY IN GOOD HEALTH - Matteawan Asylum’s Star Prisoner Has Gained Sixty Pounds

Mrs. Lizzie Halliday, the triple murderess, never looked or felt better in her life. When the Supervisors visited the Matteawan Hospital, last Thursday, the fact was brought out that the woman had gained seventy pounds since coming to the institution. Her eye is clear and her step alert. She talks rationally at all times now. Only at rare intervals, Dr. Allison says, does she become a bit insane. Then her thirst for gore becomes real pronounced.
