14 Jun 1890 - Democrat and Chronicle (Rochester, New York)

It is now believed that Levi Rogers, who was this week sentenced to seven years in Clinton prison for burglary at Rondout, is the murderer of Samuel Holtz, a peddler, who was murdered near Wurtsboro, Sullivan county, last month. Rogers is a dresperate criminal and has served terms in Pennsylvania and New York state prisons.
